Survivors of sexual exploitation are trained to become lawyers, prosecutors, journalists, para-legal workers or police agents, so they can change the system from within and fight impunity. Some of the girls also play an active role in our campaigns to raise awareness of the problem. For this ground breaking initiative Free a Girl received many international awards like a Lion in Cannes, a Black Pencil in New York and the Mother Theresa Award for Social Justice in Mumbai.
