Before the establishmend of Free a Girl India our partners where supported directly by the Dutch office of Free a Girl.

In 2018, Free a Girl headquarters (Netherlands), set up a for profit entity called Vrouwen Macht (MaKHt) Private Limited to carry out it ‘s social enterprise activities. As the name suggests, the company is about the power that lies within each woman to create and transform her own life. In order to achieve this, the company will set up various small businesses to provide training and employment opportunities to survivors of CSEC, daughters of survivors and girls vulnerable to human trafficking. Through its business model, Free a Girl India hopes to empower its partners to become entrepreneurs in their own communities and thereby provide employment opportunities to other similar girls and preventing the trafficking of more girls. Through these initiatives we aim to empower families and communities affected by human trafficking.

Free a Girl India has been active since 2018 but got the official registration in 2019.  Free a Girl cooperates with the following organisations in India: Sanlaap, Shakti Vahini, Odanadi and Freedom Firm to reach its objectives.
